Self Care using Trigger Point Balls, Yoga and Meditation

This workshop uses gentle trigger point balls to release built up tension in your muscles.  We will experiment with a sequence to use at home for your own self care to help clear away tightness and pain in the body. The class will include trigger point work, breathe work, stretching, guided relaxation and gentle vinyasa yoga. Bring your favourite yoga mat & strap (if you have them), water bottle and layers to stay warm.

 *mats available at the Cove, chairs available for those who prefer not to get down on the ground.

Vanessa Lees – Registered Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Teacher, and Certified Holistic Practitioner.

Vanessa graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Degree in Psychology. During that time she had her first Reiki session and it opened a pathway for her to explore the world of Holistic Health. She went on to graduate from the Transformational Arts College in 2001 where she studied numerous Holistic Modalities.  She found her passion with Energy Healing, Aromatherapy and Body Dialoguing.  

With her feet firmly planted in energy therapy, psychology and wellness she went back to one of her first loves to become a certified vinyasa yoga teacher (2007). And then in 2012 became an RMT (registered Massage Therapist).

She has worked at various spas and clinics in and around the Toronto area. She currently has a private practice in Etobicoke and has been working one on one with people for over 18 years.  She’s been leading workshops and yoga classes for over 10 years.

Integrating the mind, body, and spirit through Holistic Modalities, she offers unique sessions which pull from over 10 different mind-body modalities (Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Reiki, Cranial Sacral, Guided Imagery, Meditation, and Yoga). Her treatments are always based on the needs of each individual client.

Vanessa's extensive training combined with her compassion and sensitivity allow people to experience a decrease in stress and pain levels, as well as a deep sense of healing.
